With 730 horsepower corralled to unleash otherworldly performance, the Lamborghini Aventador S doesn’t need a lot of help. But for those who would beg to differ, Novitec has come out with a series of enhancements that are bound to make a difference.
Engine enhancements are restricted principally to a new exhaust system. Made of high-tech inconel, the exhaust lets the big monstrous engine exhale a little easier. It also cuts 46 pounds (21 kilograms) from the curb weight.
The result is a boost of 23 metric horsepower (17 kW) and 31 lb-ft (42 Nm) of torque. So instead of 730 hp (740 ps/544 kW) and 509 lb-ft (690 Nm), the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 now kicks out 752 hp (763 ps/561 kW) and 540 lb-ft (732 Nm) of torque.
That’s enough, according to the German tuner, to send the upgraded Raging Bull scampering to 62 miles per hour (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds before topping out at over 217 mph (350 km/h).
As you might expect, Novitec didn’t just mount a new exhaust and call it a day. It’s also offering a lowered suspension (by 1.2 in / 30 mm) and a full aero kit, honed in the wind tunnel and crafted out of carbon fiber. Meanwhile, the tuner’s NL3 wheels pack six spokes in 20-inch rims at the front, 21 at the back, and are available in an array of finishes and coated in Pirelli P Zero rubber.
Finally, Novitec also offers an adjustable aluminum sport suspension, and there’s a range of interior upgrades available as well.
