Honda has a couple of new concepts it’s preparing for the Beijing Auto Show this month. And while it hasn’t given us any teaser images to chew on just yet, it has revealed some (very) basic parameters.

With its local production partner GAC, Honda will showcase a new electric vehicle. Though billed as a concept, it aims to preview a new model that will be exclusive to the Chinese market. The new EV is set to reach showrooms there before the end of this year, according to the manufacturer.

Alongside it, Dongfeng Honda will showcase a new sedan concept. We’re afraid that we have even less to go on here. But it’s said to be all new, not a rehashed version of something we’ve already seen.

The Acura division will also showcase a hybrid version of the CDX. The compact crossover is based on the Honda HR-V/Vezel and is built in China for local consumption. The new Honda Accord Hybrid will mark its first appearance in the country as well, along with the new Acura RDX prototype.

Together with the new debuts, the Japanese automaker will showcase a full array of Honda automobiles, Acura automobiles, and Honda motorcycles at the Chinese expo. The show is set to open barely more than a week from now on April 25. By that time we should have a better idea of what the manufacturer and its partners have in store.
