The second episode in Audi’s video teaser campaign for the new Q8 SUV has been released. Titled ‘Unleash the brave’, the three-minute video is cheesy beyond belief and probably won’t convince you to buy a Q8.

While the video sucks, the SUV itself promises to be a masterclass. Visually, Audi is believed to have created the Q8 and Q8 Sport concepts based on the design of the road-going Q8 and that can only be a good thing. As such, we expect to see slim headlights, a large front grille and muscular rear fenders. Large air intakes, an aggressive roof-line and a menacing rear end should ensure the Q8 appeals to anyone who can afford the SUV.

The Audi Q8 should be much more exciting than these videos

Recent spy shots have revealed the Q8’s interior in all its glory which includes an infotainment system beautifully incorporated into the dashboard. Additionally, they’ll be a leather-wrapped steering wheel and digital gauge cluster.

Underpinning the Q8 will be the VW Group’s MLB Evo platform. The flexibility of these underpinnings will allow the carmaker to offer an assortment of engines. Those looking to purchase the entry-level model will be offered a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo unit delivering 252 hp. Further up the range, a 3.0-liter V6 offering 355 hp is in the works alongside a V6 hybrid pumping out 443 hp. Both S Q8 and RS Q8 models are tipped to be included in the Q8 range as well, the latter of which should deliver roughly 530 hp.
