LEGO and Bugatti have teamed up to create a Technic version of the impressive Chiron hypercar. Teased from as early as February this year, the brick-made toy for adults is almost here, and will be officially presented next Friday, on June 1.
In a Facebook post, LEGO said that this Bugatti Chiron will be revealed by the presidents of both the Danish company and the Molsheim car brand at a special launch event at the new LEGO House in Billund, Denmark. They will also go live on that day, starting from 9:00 am CET (3:00 am EST).
Following the announcement is a teaser image, which shows the LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron under a piece of black cloth, with part of a wheel sticking out.

The two companies still haven’t announced any technical details about the scale model, but since it wears LEGO’s Technic signature, we’re probably looking at a few thousands of small bricks that will have to be put together. It’s likely that assembling it will take a few hours, just like in the case of the popular LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS and other similar projects signed by the Danish firm and various automakers.
It will also probably cost more than the Lego GT3 RS, which is priced at $299.99 in the United States and €299.99 ($353) in Germany.
