G-Power is back again, and this time it has more updates for one of the most desired iterations of the BMW M3: the E9X.
The tuner will gladly supercharge your super Bimmer’s naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V8 to 610 PS (601 HP / 449 kW) and 580 Nm (428 lb-ft) of torque.
The price for the extra 190 PS (187 hp / 140 kW) and 180 Nm (133 lb-ft) is just €5,999 ($7,031) in Germany. But you can save €1,000 ($1,172) and go with G-Power’s 580 PS (572 HP / 426 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) upgrade instead.
By choosing their supercharger systems, the tuner claims that the “engine characteristic is preserved”, giving it an extremely direct response that’s “better than the stock engine”. That’s one bold claim given that the stock V8 is almost telepathic when it comes to response. Moreover, G-Power says that it doesn’t alter the car’s daily driver capability.
The latest power bumps are part of a ’35 Years Edition’ anniversary series. The aftermarket specialist has already revealed other upgrades, including one that costs €2,999 ($3,515) and brings 501 PS (493 HP / 368 kW) in return.
If you want more, you can have as much as 630 PS (621 HP / 463 kW) and 590 Nm (435 lb-ft) of torque at your right foot for €8,999 ($10,547).
But that’s not all, because the tuner has the ultimate upgrade for the BMW M3 E9X owner who has it all. It costs an eye-watering €39,950 ($46,821) and allows the V8 engine to deliver a McLaren 720S-equaling 720 PS (710 hp / 530 kW) (and 650 Nm [479 lb-ft] of torque) to the rear wheels.
