If you’re not sold on owning an executive sports sedan like the Audi A4, or any one of its four-door rivals, but you also don’t want anything considerably larger, your choices are actually fairly limited.

There’s the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe and this, the Audi A5 Sportback. Sure, you can argue in favor of something like the VW Arteon or the Kia Stinger, but let’s just keep things premium for the sake of this argument.

The A5 Sportback is of course the 5-door version of the A5 Coupe, which entered its second generation back in 2016. It’s still a reasonably new car, having sold about as many units last year as the BMW 4-Series, as per Carsalesbase.

Since its launch, we’ve seen lots of different configurations, on different versions. We know the A5 Sportback can look sporty as well as stylish, or perhaps a healthy mixture of both, assuming you’re of the same mindset. But if you’d rather it look more elegant, we would suggest considering an Ipanema Brown Metallic exterior, courtesy of Audi Exclusive.

Studies used to show that people who buy brown or beige cars, valued reliability above all else. Nowadays though, there are all these fancy shades of metallic brown (bronze if you will) that sparkle and give off a feeling of warmth.

Is Ipanema Brown Metallic successful in doing that on this A5 Sportback? You tell us.
