A Lamborghini Aventador has been destroyed after crashing with two other cars in Singapore.

Yahoo Singapore reports that police crews were alerted to the accident at 4:53 pm on May 28. The exact cause of the crash isn’t yet known but the three people involved were all taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.

A source close to Carscoops informed us that the speed limit on this stretch of road is just 50 km/h. Due to the damage sustained to the bright yellow Lamborghini and Toyota Estima minivan, it is reasonable to assume that excessive speed did play a factor in the crash. A Mini Cooper was also involved in the crash.

According to a passerby, roughly half a dozen police cars and ambulances responded to the scene.

“But police were redirecting traffic. The yellow car was upside down and facing the wrong way. There was another car that knocked over a tree on the road divider.”

Police investigations are still ongoing but they are likely to shed further light on the accident.

The damage sustained to the Aventador is comprehensive. The entire front fascia appears destroyed, much of the undercarriage has been torn to shreds and at least one of the car’s doors is heavily dented and scratched.
