The new Discovery Sport has been a runaway success for Land Rover. So to celebrate, it’s rolled out this special Landmark edition.
The Land Rover Discovery Sport Landmark features a sportier front bumper and unique 19-inch “Mantis” wheels in gloss dark grey, to go with the Graphite Atlas exterior trim and Carpathian Grey roof. Inside it’s all done up in black, with grained leather and dark grey trim. And the exterior paint can be specified in the buyer’s choice of Narvik Black, Corris Grey, or Yulong White.
Customers can also choose between two of Land Rover’s Ingenium 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engines: a diesel with 180 metric horsepower, or a gasoline version with 240. They both feature particulate filters that are now being fitted across the entire range.
Last year alone, Land Rover sold 126,078 units of the Discovery Sport. That’s the most it’s ever sold of any single model over the course of any of the past 70 years in the company’s history, and propelled the company to record sales last year.
“The Discovery Sport is loved by customers because it demonstrates the breadth of Land Rover’s ability, offering unrivalled all-terrain capability with the versatility for up to seven people and a premium interior,” said Land Rover marketing director Finbar McFall. “We have sold more than 350,000 Discovery Sports globally since its introduction in 2014, with 126,078 models sold in 2017 – the best single-model annual sales in Land Rover’s 70-year history.”
Interested parties can place their order now – in the UK at least – with prices starting at £40,400 (on the road).
