A modern BMW M3 Wagon is the family car many people dream of but for whatever reason, it’s not a real thing. Until now.

What you’re looking at may technically be a 2009 328i Wagon but in effect, it is an E92-generation M3 Touring that can take the kids to school, collect the groceries, and dominate supercars on a racetrack or at the drag strip.

Powering this 328i Wagon is the desirable S65B40 4.0-liter V8 of the E92 M3. Left untouched, this engine is already pretty powerful but the current owner has decided to equip it with an ESS VT2-625 supercharger that lifts grunt to 625 hp. To complement the engine, the car also includes a new radiator, oil cooler, power steering cooler, DCT cooler and a header-back Akrapovic Evo titanium exhaust system.

The M3 parts don’t just end with the mechanical components. One look at the exterior and you’ll recognize various OEM body panels from the E92-generation M3, including the flared fenders, front bumper, and hood complete with a huge power buldge.

Elsewhere, the owner has outfitted the car with 18-inch Volk wheels complete with Toyo R888 tires and a KW V3 coilover suspension system. The front seats, center console steering wheel and instrument cluster have also been lifted from the M3.

The car is currently for sale on Bring a Trailer with a highest bid of an entirely reasonable $40,009.
