More than 60 years after it left production, the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing remains a dream ride for collectors all over the world, and one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

However, keeping one in pristine condition often requires subsequent work. Thus, the automaker is now offering new body panels for the classic model, created in cooperation with a certified supplier.

The metal parts can be ordered from any Mercedes-Benz sales partner and are electrophoretically painted. They are a perfect match for the iconic 300 SL Gullwing, as they have been created after analyzing the 3D data of the original body.

For the moment, the body panels available are the following:

– Front paneling left – €11,900 ($14,258)
– Front paneling right – €11,900 ($14,258)
– Rear paneling left – €14,875 ($17,822)
– Rear paneling right – €14,875 ($17,822)
– Rear-end center section – €2,975 ($3,564)
– Rear-end floor – €8,925 ($10,693)

All prices are for the German market and they include tax.

Mercedes-Benz promises to prepare more parts for the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, in addition to the body panels and the checquered upholstery launched in mid-March. The latter is offered in three designs, fits all 1,400 units of the car produced between 1954 and 1957 and costs €184.45 ($221) per meter, with a width of 1.4m (55.12in).
