Porsche has made a lot of sports cars over the years. Probably more than just about any other manufacturer. But it’s only made a handful of hypercars. And of those, it’s only made a relative handful of each.

Seeing one on the road, then, is a rare treat. But seeing them all together… well, that’s another story altogether. And that’s just what we have here.

JP Performance in Germany hit the road recently with a 959, a Carrera GT, and a 918 Spyder – one in red, one in black, and one in white. One of them (the 959 we’d surmise) it borrowed from the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. The long and short of it is that the site of all three driving in the same motorcade is the stuff of legend.

What’s particularly interesting about this assembly is how different they are. The 959 packs a turbocharged flat six and all-wheel drive. The Carrera GT is powered by an atmospheric V10 driving the rear wheels. And the 918 is a hybrid V8. As far as mid-engined hypercars from the same manufacturer go, each is about as different from the other as can be.

They were all captured in the photo gallery and video below. The clip is in German, and really only gets going after the half-way mark. But the site of the trio requires no translation.

The question we’re wondering is, if we were so fortunate as to have the choice, which would we take? The answer, of course, is “any of them, with immense pleasure.” But if we were pressed, we’d have a hard time choosing. How about you?
