After all these years, you would think that there are no barns left unchecked in search of precious classics that somehow were left there sitting for decades.
Turns out there are some gems out there collecting dust, the latest being this 1962 Porsche 356B Super 90 Coupe.
This classic Euro-spec Porsche was originally owned by a priest who moved from Germany to the USA and brought it with him.
The car was then sold to the previous owner, who kept it unrestored for four decades, and now it’s the time for the right person to give it a new home. This 356 has covered 71,000km (44k miles) and is described to be in an “extremely original” condition.
It’s even finished in the very desirable Slate Grey over red cloth interior combo, while the engine is a factory replacement 1.6-liter flat-four with 89hp. In combination with a kerb weight of just 934kg (2,059lbs), the 356B Super 90 could do the 0-60mph (0-96 km/h) run in 10 seconds.
These cars become increasingly hard to find, especially in such an original condition, and this example will become the perfect restoration project for someone wishing to experience an early Porsche.
The car is currently listed for sale by Gullwing Motor Cars in Astoria, New York for the price of $56,500.
