Mission: Impossible – Fallout hits theaters on July 27th and BMW has revealed it is an official partner of the popular film franchise.

The partnership dates back to 2011’s Ghost Protocol and the relationship means there will be plenty of BMW models in the latest film. Among the vehicles featured in Mission: Impossible – Fallout are the all-new M5 and the flagship 7-Series sedan. The movie will also feature a 1986 5-Series and an R nineT Scrambler motorcycle.

The M5 will be prominently featured in the movie and the car has been equipped with an assortment of BMW M Performance Parts including carbon fiber mirror caps and a black kidney grille.

Like the standard model, the car has a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that produces 592 hp (441 kW / 600 PS) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enables the sedan to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.4 seconds before hitting a limited top speed of up to 189 mph (305 km/h).

BMW didn’t say much about the other vehicles but noted the R nineT Scrambler will be “performing daring maneuvers at rapid speed in a wild chase through Paris.” Likewise, the 1986 5-Series will be shown in a “high-octane scene which sets a new standard for the action-film genre.”

Besides providing cars for the film, BMW will launch a “Mission to Thrill” marketing campaign that promotes the movie as well as the company’s products. The campaign will include broadcast, digital and print elements.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout stars Tom Cruise, as Ethan Hunt, as well as Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames. Little is known about the plot at this point but the IMF crew will be in a race against time after a mission goes wrong.
