After working their magic on the latest-generation BMW X1 earlier this year, Dahler went on to treat the third-gen X3 to a similar makeover.

On the visual front, this menacing-looking G01 X3 is rocking new lightweight forged alloy wheels, ‘Competition Line’ badges and a lowered suspension, which makes for a look befitting the sporty M40i.

In stock form, this version of the X3 puts down 360PS (355HP) and 500Nm (368 lb-ft) of torque, allowing it to accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.8 seconds from a standstill. Thanks to Dahler, the car now makes 420 PS (414 HP) and 630 Nm (464 lb-ft) of torque, which most certainly aid it with straight line acceleration, although no official figures have been published yet.

If we were to make a calculated guess, we’d say that it might dip somewhere around 4.5 seconds or less. Mind you, that X5 M territory, as the flagship M-powered SUV can hit 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. Sure, it packs 575 PS (567 HP) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque, but it also weighs roughly 465 kg (1,025 lbs) more than the X3 M40i.

Other mods include the custom stainless steel exhaust system with four pipes, custom mirror casings and blacked-out trim in various places like the grille surround.

The tuner says that they can also modify several other versions of the all-new X3, and not just the M40i flagship. In fact, they claim to have tuning packages for almost all petrol and diesel models, but haven’t revealed any details just yet.
