The Eadon Green Zeclat was one of the weirdest premieres at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, and now, a few months later, it’s already cruising the streets of Monaco.

With its custom body meant to resemble some models made by French coachbuilders in the 1930s, and chameleon paint job, it’s not exactly the prettiest in the Principality, nor the fastest for that matter.

Beneath the freshly molded sheet panels lies the platform of the Chevrolet Corvette C7. And just like the American muscle car, it’s powered by an LT1 V8 engine that produces 460 horsepower. The unit is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission, but a seven-speed manual is also available.

The Eadon Green Zeclat gets the ‘Vette’s driver-oriented cabin, albeit dressed in leather, carbon fiber, polished aluminum and glossy black trim, while drivers also enjoy the standard car’s head-up display and smartphone connectivity.

Its MSRP depends on how many units are produced annually. Working at full capacity, the small British coachbuilder can deliver up to 25 units. In this case, pricing would sit at around £550,000 (equal to $730,000). However, if demand is low and only 5 customers sign up for their own Eadon Green Zeclat, then they will have to pay £1,000,000 ($1,327,290).

So, if you had that much cash lying around, would you be tempted to buy this or something that looks better from an established sports car maker?
