As one of the highest earners in Formula One history, it’s no surprise that Lewis Hamilton owns an impressive collection of cars. The latest addition to his garage? A white LaFerrari Aperta.

It’s no secret that the Mercedes Formula One star owns a fleet of vehicles from his on-track rivals, including a 599 GTO and an all-new LaFerrari Coupe. His recently-delivered Aperta is the most valuable of them all and was recently filmed out and about in Hollywood.

Unlike the Coupe, the British driver ordered the Aperta in a gloss white paint scheme with black and carbon fiber accents as well as red brake calipers.

Production of the LaFerrari Aperta is restricted to just 210 units, including the one-off auctioned off for charity last year for $10 million. Given that demand for the LaFerrari Coupe has seen used examples trading hands for over $5 million, it’s fair to assume that Hamilton could parts ways with his Aperta for upwards of $7 million – that’s it, if he decides to sell it.

While it’s obvious that Hamilton loves his Ferraris, it’s unclear if his Mercedes team is so keen on him spending millions to support a rival manufacturer. In Hamilton’s defense, he does own numerous high-performance Mercedes-Benz models as well, including an SLS AMG and the AMG-powered Pagani Zonda 760LH. There’s a very good chance he’s also put his name down for the groundbreaking Mercedes-AMG Project One that’ll use his F1 ride’s powertrain.
