Chevrolet has just announced pricing for their 2019 Silverado Chassis Cab range, where $48,465 will land you the entry-level 4500HD regular cab version equipped with 2WD.
The price tag includes the $1,495 destination charge, but not taxes, title or any additional dealer fees. Customers who want to go all in on this truck can always opt for the flagship 6500HD crew cab version, which is priced at $61,245.
“These new Silverado chassis cabs are a great addition to our lineup because we can now offer small businesses and large fleets a truck that can be upfitted to do many jobs including construction, utility and landscape work, tow truck operations, first responder calls and more,” said GM Fleet exec, Ed Peper. “Chevrolet was obsessed with making these Silverado trucks easy to upfit, drive and own.”
Customers can opt for either 2WD or 4WD models, all powered by a Duramax 6.6-liter diesel engine with 350 horsepower and 700 lb-ft (950 Nm) of torque.
According to Chevrolet, you can choose between more frame lengths if you opt for a Silverado than in any of its key competitors, meaning you can get the exact truck to suit your needs. Meanwhile, thanks to the clamshell hood and 50-degree wheel cut, technicians gain much better access to the engine compartment.
As for optional equipment, you can get a twin fuel tank with a capacity of up to 65 gallons (246 liters), a factory-installed air suspension and a full suite of available connectivity features including OnStar, Commercial Link and a built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot.
