Changing the rims on a car is the easiest way to change its looks. And, as expected, some owners go above and beyond to make their rides stand out.

Going for one or more sizes up is quite ordinary, but this owner has really gone to town with his ride, as it sits on a set of 32-inch rims made by Forgiato.

The gigantic wheels have been custom made, and strangely enough, they’re not the biggest ones offered by the company – but that’s a completely different story.

Fitting them to this 2016 Camaro Convertible was no easy task to begin with. The owner had to heavily modify the suspension and, unsurprisingly, they have affected both the ride comfort and the turning radius. But, according to the owner, that’s nothing when you’re sitting as high as an SUV in a muscle car.

The mods didn’t stop here, though, as the car has also welcomed a custom chameleon paint job, in the same tone as the rims. It also gets a set of custom LED headlights that change color via a smartphone app.

Opening the door reveals yet more custom stuff, such as the two-tone leather, said to be one of the most expensive in the market, along with two 27-inch TVs mounted on the doors. For the latter, the owner had to drop the door handles and replace them with buttons mounted on the A pillars.

The mandatory gaming console, an Xbox One in this case, has a second function: its controller can operate the electrically retractable fabric roof.

So, how much money have went into the build? Too much, and Corey Jones, the owner of the car and manager of Crusader Customs says hasn’t kept track of all the expenses.

A man is entitled to pimping his ride in any way he so wishes, though in the end, these rims are plainly a step too far. But hey, you pays your money…
