The Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is a great sports car, but apparently it proved more than a handful for one owner.
The good news is that this 2019 Grand Sport only has 15 miles (24 km) on the clock – which practically makes it brand new. If it weren’t in such a sorry state, that is.
At the time of writing, Copart has it listed for sale. The highest bid stands at $20,600, which is not that low, given that it has a good chunk of its front end missing. Damages include the suspension on the left side, but the cabin appears to have stayed in one piece, which, along with the deployed airbags on both sides, makes us believe the occupants walked away, probably without any serious injuries.

Okay, so what happened to this ‘Vette? According to Jalopnik, who, in turn, are quoting Chris Uthe, it was involved in an incident in South Dakota a couple of months ago.
The Corvette, with dealer plates on it, hit a brick wall, in a rather embarrassing accident, thus ending its life in no time and putting a $65,000-$70,000 hole in someone’s pocket. Here’s hoping that it was at least insured.
