This is a 2003 C4 Audi RS6 saloon, boasting an MTM power kit, 15″ front brakes, 19″ custom wheels and just 19,000 miles (30,577 km) on the clock, which actually isn’t that much, considering a. its age, and b. how this is still basically a family car.

It also happens to look extremely clean both inside and out, except for a few blemishes here and there. According to the seller, the car has a clean California title and a clean Carfax report, the types of details that generally put buyers’ minds at ease.

How much power is it making?

We’re not sure. The Bring a Trailer ad only specifies the MTM power kit, which consists of reworked BorgWarner turbochargers, high-flow downpipes and catalytic converters, custom exhaust and so on. When stock, the car’s 4.2-liter bi-turbo V8 engine produced 444 HP (450 PS) and 428 lb-ft (580 Nm) of torque, enough to propel it from zero to 60 mph (96 km/h) in around 4.5 seconds. We can only assume that this example is even quicker, although there’s no way of knowing by how much.

Earlier this year, the car was fitted with a set of kW V3 coilovers, bringing it closer to the road. The MTM-branded 19-inch wheels were also recently given gunmetal and black accents, while Pirelli PZero tires were mounted front and rear.

Aside from the MTM badges, the exterior seems mostly factory standard, with stock RS6 bumpers, fender extensions and side skirts.

A well-conditioned interior

Inside, there are light grey leather seats, carbon fiber inlays on the doors and center console, a stock stereo and steering wheel (not multi-function), and a sunroof. It’s obvious that the previous owner took good care of the car and that it’s pretty well spec’d, at least for a 2003 model.

When new, this car was a direct rival for the likes of the E39 BMW M5 and the W211 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG. Someone was obviously smitten by it, as the car eventually sold for $36,000. All in all, that’s a very reasonable amount for such a multi-talented super saloon.
