If your idea of improving your ride includes more power and new wheels, then you’ll definitely like this Audi RS4 Avant.
With a little help from Wheelsandmore, which fiddled with the electronics of the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6, the sporty premium compact estate now has 527 PS (520 hp / 388 kW) and 710 Nm (524 lb-ft) of torque to play with.
The extra 77 PS (76 hp / 57 kW) and 110 Nm (81 lb-ft) shaves a few tenths off the official 4.1-second 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time, although the tuner didn’t disclose any numbers.
Moreover, with the addition of a new exhaust system, power increases by an additional 9 PS (9 hp / 7 kW), which, according to Wheelsandmore, makes the car more competitive with the MTM- or ABT-tuned Audi RS4 Avant.
The latter has 530 PS (523 hp / 390 kW) from a tuned ECU and a high-performance exhaust system, whereas the former can push out as much as 612 PS (603 hp / 450 kW) with a new turbocharger kit. MTM is also offering a 535 PS (527 hp / 393 kW) conversion kit, so this is probably the one targeted by Wheelsandmore.
Adjustable springs lower the ride height significantly, while the final upgrade is the fitment of 9×20-inch front and 11×20-inch rear wheels, called 6Sporz² and wrapped in 275/30 and 295/25 tires, respectively. 21-inch rims are also available, and both sets come in a variety of finishes.
