Is a new Ford Mustang on your buying shortlist? If so, then get ready to pay a little bit more for the base version.
According to CarsDirect, the 2019 Ford Mustang EcoBoost is now $370 more expensive than before. This includes a base price increase of $275, and $95 more for the destination charge that goes up to $995.
Thus, the entry-level model starts at $27,115, up from $26,745. That’s for the six-speed manual version as the 10-speed automatic is still a $1,595 option.
As for the 2019 Mustang EcoBoost Premium, this version will set you back $32,130, or $370 mote than before. Meanwhile, the Mustang Convertible is $5,500 dearer than the Coupe in both versions.

Not all Mustangs become more expensive for the 2019MY; the GT and Bullit carry the same price tag, apart from the increased (by just $95) destination charge.
While the entry level pony car is less affordable than before, one of its main rivals, the Chevrolet Camaro, is now cheaper, as the 2019MY cars start at $25,995, including destination.
