Tiff Needell recently announced Fifth Gear would be returning to television and now Discovery has released additional information about the show.
Set to debut on September 6th in the United Kingdom, the new season will reunite Jason Plato, Vicki Butler-Henderson, Jonny Smith and Tiff Needell. There will also be some new faces this time around as “extreme engineer” Jimmy De Ville will be presenting a regular segment on car modifications.
The group will be joined by former Formula One driver Karun Chandhok and “snooker legend and self-confessed petrol-head” Ronnie O’Sullivan. Chandhok will obviously lend his driving talent to the show, while O’Sullivan will do a handful of road tests and reviews.

While the new season will be a bit different, there will still be plenty of interesting cars. Among the models slated to be featured are the Alfa Romeo Guilia Quadrifoglio, Audi S5 Coupe, Bentley Continental GT and BMW M2. The group will also try out of a number of hot hatches including the Ford Fiesta ST, Honda Civic Type R and Seat Cupra R.
Luxury and performance models will be represented by the Mercedes-AMG C63 S, Alpine A110, Porsche 718 Cayman and Range Rover Sport SVR. Lastly, the show will also take a look at eco-friendly models such as the Nissan Leaf and Hyundai Nexo.
The new season of Fifth Gear will air on Quest on September 6th at 9 p.m. local time.
