The Suzuki Jimny is the little off-roader that could. Despite not looking like much to the average observer, the tiny Jimny has made a name for itself throughout the years as punching above its weight and being able to tackle off-road trails usually requiring more specialized machinery.
In its latest generation, the small off-roader has paired its impressive performance with looks resembling the boxy Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Now, Liberty Walk has taken things even further with this G-Class-inspired bodykit.
Starting with the front fascia of the Jimny, Liberty Walk has installed a bumper that closely resembles the one on the G-Class, with square air intakes and LED daytime running lights. Additionally, the bumper incorporates a black skid plate, while a silver tow hook has also been fitted.
Next, the Japanese tuner best known for their work on Lamborghinis and Nissan GT-Rs, has created a hood similar to the G-Class’, complete with a menacing intake and power bulge, thus offering a hint of the vehicle’s off-road prowess.
Sticking to tradition, Liberty Walk has fitted its customary flared wheel arches, this time bearing a close similarity to those of the G-Class. Last but not least, there’s distinct wheels, side steps, and a roof with fog lights and some aggressive add-ons.
Liberty Walk founder Wataru Kato took to Instagram to show off the vehicle, announcing that pre-orders are now open and that the first units will be released this year. No pricing details have been announced, but the bodykit shouldn’t cost more than a few thousand dollars.
