The McLaren 720S is absurdly fast and we’ve already seen it beat a handful of high-performance models including the Corvette ZR1 and the Lamborghini Huracan Performante. Owners looking for even more power can check out the latest tuning program from Novitec.
Starting with the engine, the N-Tronic ECU enables the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 to produce 762 hp (568 kW / 773 PS) and 626 lb-ft (849 Nm) of torque. This is an modest increase of 52 hp (38 kW / 53 PS) and 58 lb-ft (78 Nm) of torque.
The Level 2 variant is even more impressive as it includes the optimized ECU as well as a stainless steel sports exhaust system. Thanks to these additions, the engine develops 795 hp (592 kW / 806 PS) and 647 lb-ft (878 Nm) of torque. In this configuration, the car will accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.7 seconds and 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) in 7.5 seconds. Given enough room, the model will eventually hit a top speed of 346 km/h (215 mph).
Last but not least, there’s a Level 3 variant which splits the difference between the two other versions. When equipped, the engine produces 780 hp (581 kW / 791 PS) and 636 lb-ft (863 Nm) of torque.
Besides the performance upgrades, Novitec offers an extensive assortment of carbon fiber components including a front lip spoiler, canards and side skirts. Customers can also order headlight surrounds, an engine cover and a rear spoiler made from the lightweight material. Other carbon fiber goodies include the mirror caps and rear diffuser.
To finish off the sporting look, the company offers forged wheels which measure 20-inches up front and 21-inches out back. The wheels are available in a variety of colors and Novitec offers lower springs to give the car an even more aggressive appearance.
