With everything going on at Seat recently, it’s easy to forget that they still have the Alhambra in their range.
The minivan is in its second generation, which was launched in 2010. It’s based on the same underpinnings as the Volkswagen Sharan and recently got with a new trim level.
Called Xcellence, this flavor comes with a slightly modified exterior design that includes the updated Seat logo at the front, chrome finishing for the window frames and roof rails, and 18-inch alloy wheels with a new pattern.
Inside, the Alhambra Xcellence gets LED illumination all around and two additional USB ports in the second and third rows.

Elsewhere, this grade, which sits above the Reference and Style ones, has standard Front Assist and Lane Assist driving assistance features, in addition to a front-facing multifunction camera.
Clients will have to choose between a 1.4-liter TSI petrol unit with 150PS (148hp / 110kW), available with either a manual or a DSG automatic transmission, and a 115PS (113hp / 84kW), 150PS (148hp / 110kW) or 177PS (175hp / 135kW) 2.0-liter TDI diesel.
The base diesel comes solely with a manual gearbox, the mid-range option is available with the manual or DSG and 4Drive all-wheel drive, and the most powerful version is offered exclusively with the automatic transmission and AWD.
