Chevrolet has shown four different concepts based on the 2019 Silverado that demonstrate how customers can customize their truck using genuine accessories and performance parts.
The first is the Silverado High Country Concept that got unveiled today at the State Fair of Texas, with the other three being the Silverado LTZ, Silverado RST Off Road, and Silverado RST Street.
All four will be officially presented this fall at the SEMA Show. Let’s see what each of them brings to the table.
Silverado High Country Concept
This project envisions a premium truck and is highly-accessorized with design, functionality and performance parts. Styling-wise, it features bronze exterior accents on the grille and 22-inch wheels, an illuminated bowtie emblem, and chrome tailgate handle. A retractable tonneau cover by Advantage is also fitted.
Inside, the custom Silverado High Country gets all-weather floor liners with Chevrolet lettering for the front row, a lockable storage box on the center console, under-seat organizer, and rear-seat infotainment system with DVD player.
Performance upgrades include a two-inch suspension lift, six-piston Brembo front brake upgrade system with color-matched rear calipers, 6.2L cat-back dual exit exhaust, and 6.2L cold-air intake.
Silverado LTZ Concept
This concept showcases the trailering technologies offered by the 2019 Silverado 1500, as well as performance parts for the 5.3-liter V8. Equipped with the Z71 package, the show truck gets a cold-air intake, cat-back single exit exhaust with Chevrolet bowtie logo tip, and the same Brembo brake upgrade as the High Country.
Accessories fitted to the truck include the Trailering Camera Package, 22-inch chrome alloys, chrome wheel-to-wheel six-inch rectangular assist steps, illuminated black bowtie grille emblem, all-weather floor liners with Z71 badge insert, and the other interior parts from the High Country.
Silverado RST Off Road Concept
The RST offers a monochromatic styling via the Cajun Red body color combined with a new Off Road Appearance package available through dealers. The pack brings a sport bar, off-road assist steps, and a roll-up tonneau cover. The truck also sports a 40-inch LED light bar from Baja Designs, which also supply the off-road sport lamps.
As with the other concepts, the RST is equipped with a two-inch suspension lift, cold-air intake for the 5.3-liter engine, illuminated bowtie emblem, center console lockage storage box, and all-weather floor liners with Z71 badge insert. Rounding off the upgrades are the 18-inch off-road wheels and tires, side-mounted bed storage box, black tailgate lettering.
Silverado RST Street Concept
The most striking of the four Silverado concepts adopts a lowered suspension system, body-side graphics, and carbon-fiber-look parts for a sportier appearance. The grille bar, mirror caps, door handles and interior feature carbon-fiber look trim, and the aggressive look is backed by the high-gloss black 22-inch wheels as well.
Performance tweaks include the 5.3L cold-air intake system, Brembo front upgrade, Borla carbon fiber exhaust tips, and Borla cat-back exhaust with a dual-split rear. The list of Chevrolet Accessories consists of black Silverado nameplate, front and rear molded splash guards, and front-row all-weather floor liners with Chevrolet script.
