The Apollo Intensa Emozione has been on a non-stop world tour since its premiere last year and over the weekend, made a surprise appearance at an event held by the Supercar Owners Club in Switzerland.
The event is held annually on a private airport runway and consistently attracts some of the wildest creations on four wheels. Despite being surrounded by hypercar royalty that included the likes of a Maserati MC12, the Apollo IE was one of the event’s highlights.
While the car wasn’t driven to its limits, it did make a few exhibition runs down the airfield and proved to be one of the best-sounding vehicles of the pack and rightfully turned many, many heads.
If we had the money, we’d have an IE in our garage.
Making the Apollo IE sound so good is the fact that it’s powered by a Ferrari-derived 6.3-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine that’s been fettled to deliver 769 hp and 561 lb-ft of torque while paired to a bespoke, and very expensive, exhaust system. This combination results in a howl not too dissimilar to some of the finest Pagani Zonda models ever produced.
It remains to be seen how progressed development of the Intensa Emozione is but there’s no doubt the reborn company is attracting the interest of potential customers wherever it takes this monster.
What’s especially impressive about the Intensa Emozione is that it doesn’t just have a crazy engine going for it. It also has one of the most insane exteriors of any automobile and makes even the craziest Paganis and Koenigseggs look restrained.
