In its latest iteration, Jeep’s iconic Wrangler is finally the type of car that offers a large infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Blind Spot Monitoring and even Wi-Fi hotspot. It’s a truly modern vehicle, in just about every way.
The previous-generation, though? Not as much, especially for the first few years of its existence. Its interior was extremely basic, featuring a lot of rough surfaces and cheap plastic throughout. Utilitarian, yes, but by no means elegant.
Sure enough, all of that can easily change as long as you secure the services of someone like renowned Polish tuner Carlex Design who specializes in transforming car interiors from… whatever they were before, to plush, luxurious environments.
This particular project is no different, as this third-gen Wrangler now comes with red leather inserts, a distinctive pattern on the front and rear seats and lots of contrast stitching.
The tuner has been known to sometimes cover just about all plastic surfaces such as the upper dashboard, center console etc. with leather. And, for the most part, that’s exactly what they did to this Wrangler, which spruces up its utilitarian cabin. Therefore, you might want to pay attention, as you wouldn’t want to mess up all that fine leather by tracking mud or dirt into the car, something that’s bound to happen if you go off-roading.
