The new Swift Sport has welcomed a dose of tuning courtesy of Japan’s Kulh Racing.
Famous for taking on some of the country’s most exciting cars, such as the Nissan GT-R, the company has developed an new body kit for Suzuki’s warm hatch.
The upgrades consist of front, rear and side skirt add-ons, a roof-mounted spoiler and headlight covers. Kuhl’s idea of the perfect Swift Sport also includes an updated grille, new logos on both ends of the car and a new set of wheels with a six-spoke pattern and black finish.

Kuhl Racing is asking up to 360,000 yen ($3,197/€2,721) for the aero upgrade kit in the Land of the Rising Sun, complete with a paint finish, whereas the rear spoiler adds another 15,000 ($133/€113) to the sum, without tax and shipping. Other upgrades available from the tuner include new mufflers and what appears to be a sports suspension that lowers the ride height.
We still need to practice our Japanese, but the tuner doesn’t make any references to any potential power upgrades. Thus, this Swift Sport still packs the turbo’d 1.4-liter that churns out 140 PS (138 hp / 103 kW) and 230 Nm (169 lb-ft) of torque.
Tipping the scales at just 975 kg (2,149 lbs), the stock Suzuki Swift Sport accelerates from rest to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 8.1 seconds and tops out at 209 km/h (130 mph).
