The third-generation Mazda RX-7 (and any RX-7 for that matter) doesn’t really need modifications to stand out on the street. Mazda gave it smooth lines and great proportions straight from the factory — not to mention the mental twin-turbo Wankel engine.
While the above statements are true, they don’t change the fact that the RX-7 is a favorite for tuning companies. What you see here is a Rocket Bunny RX-7 riding on SC20 Classic forged alloys from Strasse Wheels.
The striking concave rims feature a Gloss Brushed center, High Polish lip, and Gloss Black hardware combination that help them send a retro and modern vibe at the same time. While the “SC20” in the name suggests they’re 20-inch wheels (not to mention the fact they look huge fitted to this RX-7), their actual size is 18×9.5 at front and 18×10.5 at the rear.
One reason for which the wheels appear to be bigger is the fact that the blue 1993 RX-7 has virtually no suspension travel. The car is so close to the ground that the passengers probably get tickled by every small stone they drive over.
The RX-7 also features an aggressive body kit with flared fenders bolted to the body using aero-style rivets, as well as a massive rear diffuser and boot lid spoiler.
If the wheels caught your attention, you should know the Miami-based manufacturer makes them in sizes ranging from 18 to 24 inches, with widths spanning 4.5 to 13 inches. They are available with a five or six-lug bolt pattern and can also be ordered in a center lock configuration.
