A couple of Renault concept cars were snapped these past few weeks, and it seems that at least one of them will be presented at the 2018 Paris Auto Show.
The French automaker’s official announcement refers to “a premium robo-vehicle concept”, the third in its 2018 trilogy that explores mobility services, which will celebrate its world premiere at the automotive event.
Renault didn’t disclose any further details, but we could be looking at the EZ-Pro Concept, which follows in the footsteps of the EZ-Go. The latter was unveiled in Geneva last March, and it’s pretty much an autonomous urban car that can haul up to six passengers.

Given the front window that lifts up to provide access inside, the EZ-Pro likely lacks the conventional steering wheel, pedals and even dashboard. Thus, we could be looking at a Level 5 self-driving system, unlike the EZ-Go’s Level 4. Nothing is official yet, but the latest show car could pack an electric powertrain.
Elsewhere, Renault will present the facelifted Kadjar in Paris, too, which was unveiled last week with a new face and a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder petrol engine, co-developed with Daimler. The unit is available in two outputs, 140 PS (138 hp / 103 kW) and 160 PS (158 hp / 118 kW) and can be ordered with a manual or a dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Renault has other surprises for those attending the 2018 Paris Auto Show, while the Alpine A110 will be on display as well, in the Pure, Legendes and GT4 flavors.
Finally, Dacia, which operates under the Renault umbrella, will launch a design competition for the Sandero Stepway. The Romanian brand will also showcase a “surprise exhibit worth seeing”.
