Said to be one of just three Q1R race cars ever produced by Rossion Automotive, this particular example also happens to be the only one that’s finished in bare carbon fiber.

Now, you might be wondering what on earth is a Rossion Q1R – and you’d be right. The Q1R is the racing version of the Q1, a mid-engined sports car based on the old Noble M400.

In Q1R guise, it comes with a full roll cage, Sparco racing seats, a limited slip differential and pretty much everything else you need to set fast lap times on your favorite track.

The body of the Q1R is made entirely out of carbon fiber, although here it was left unpainted for a more mechanical look, we presume. The car did however receive bright red accents and was also fitted with lights, windshield wipers, mirrors and custom made 18-inch forged alloys wheels.

Its aerodynamic properties weren’t overlooked, which is why the Q1R comes with massive fully functional cooling ducts. Overall this is a relatively small car, with a wheelbase measuring 96 inches (2,438 mm) and an overall length of 162 inches (4,115 mm). It only weighs 1,800 lbs (816 kg) – less than a Smart ForTwo.

If you had any doubts about the Q1R’s main purpose, all you need to do is take a seat behind the wheel and look around you. There, you’ll notice the roll cage, Sparco race seats with 5-point harnesses, the fire suppression system, quick-release OMP steering wheel, integrated digital display, plus a custom center panel for all your switches.

As for that shiny gear lever, it belongs to a 6-speed manual transmission, routing power to the rear wheels. Music to any driving enthusiast’s ears.

According to the Bring a Trailer ad, the car is powered by a 2.0-liter Ecoboost four-cylinder engine, producing 287 HP and 281 lb-ft (381 Nm) of torque. Rossion’s own website also features the 323 HP and 305 lb-ft (413 Nm) Q1R L4, as well as a V6-powered version with an estimated 500 HP.

At the time of writing, the highest offer was $16k. With six days remaining ’till the auction ends, interested parties have plenty of time to bid on it.
