Roush is looking to mix and match off-road capability with on-road performance in the best way possible, unveiling their new 2018 F-150 SC pickup truck.
The vehicle is equipped with the tuner’s TVS R2650 Supercharger Package, an advanced Fox Racing suspension, plus a wide range of Roush performance styling components that are meant to showcase its dual-personality.
Powering this F-150 is Ford’s 5.0-liter V8, which now delivers 650 HP and 610 lb-ft (827 Nm) of torque thanks to the addition of a supercharger and a few engine calibrations. Meanwhile, sound is enhanced via either the standard dual tip Performance exhaust system, or the optional dual tip Active exhaust system, enabling the driver to switch between “loud” and “quiet” modes through the mobile app or the console-mounted dial.
Further upgrades include the 2.0 coilover suspension, lifting the front end by two inches (5 cm), new Roush-branded 20-inch alloy wheels and a set of Mickey Thompson Baja ATX P3 Hybrid All-Terrain tires.
“Roush takes pride in providing consumers with innovative and powerful products that stay true to our name,” stated Jack Roush Jr. “Our 2018 Roush F-150 SC is ready to take on your favorite trail, tow your boat to the lake or handle your daily commute.”
As for styling, the 2018 F-150 SC packs the tuner’s signature full front grille replacement, in-house front bumper cover (compatible with Ford’s adaptive cruise control), and fender flares with accent lighting. Buyers can also personalize their trucks thanks to the multiple available graphics options.
Inside, the truck gains a serialized Roush console badge, black and carbon leather seats, a Console Vault and an Off-road Utility kit. Last, but not least ,is the personally signed serialized engine-bay badge with the name of the person who built the car.
Pricing for the 2018 Roush F-150 SC starts at $22,999, excluding the cost of the base vehicle.
