Few cars tell the world that you have loads of cash quite like the Ferrari FXX K Evo.
The hypercar is the more hardcore version of the already insane FXX K, the track-only version of the LaFerrari. To be granted the chance to purchase an FXX K Evo you have to be at the very top of the automaker’s VIP list and be the proud owner of a mind-boggling Ferrari collection.
If you tick all these boxes and have the money, you can own an FXX K Evo and enjoy it on track – and only there, as the cars of the Corse Clienti program stay with Ferrari at all times.
Now, if you’re lucky, your car could even be taken to public roads once in a a blue moon. Like, say, in this event to promote the Italian Grand Prix that took place in Milan, Italy recently, where a host of racing cars took to the city streets – and the FXX K Evo was one of the highlights.
Outfitted with a naturally aspirated V12 engine, the FXX K produces 860 PS (848 hp) at 9200 rpm and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque from 6500 rpm. The internal combustion engine works alongside an electric motor that provides an extra 190 PS (187 hp), resulting in a combined 1050 PS (1036 hp) and more than 900 Nm (730 lb-ft) of twisting force.
This means the FXX K Evo delivers roughly the same amount of power as Ferrari’s current Formula One car. Sure, it’s heavier, but the V12 of the LaFerrari-based track car make it sound much, much better.
