Guangzhou Automotive Company (GAC) is a Chinese automaker that wants to enter both the European and American markets by 2020. In Paris, it debuted the GS5 SUV powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. It was developed by GAC’s R&D centers in Guangzhou, Shanghai and in the United States. The SUV is joined by its GS4, GS8, GM8 and GA4 siblings, as well as the Enverge Concept that we saw in Detroit earlier this year.
