The updated Acura ILX will start arriving at dealerships on October 10, featuring the company’s latest design language and significant technology upgrades.

Pricing for the 2019 Acura ILX starts from $25,900 or $26,895 including a $995 destination charge, making it $2,200 cheaper than the outgoing model.

Power comes from a 2.4-liter four-cylinder unit that makes 201hp and 180lb-ft of torque, bolted to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

As standard, the 2019 Acura ILX comes with plenty of features, including a power moonroof, LED headlights, 17-inch alloys, dual-zone climate system, heated front seats with the driver’s being a 10-way power adjustable unit, smart entry & push button start and more.

Every ILX model is also coming with the AcuraWatch suite of active safety and driver assistance systems, and that includes Collision Mitigation Braking System with Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning.

The color palette has been updated with new options, including Platinum White Pearl, Majestic Black Pearl, Performance Red Pearl, Canyon Bronze Metallic and A-Spec-exclusive Apex Blue Pearl.

Acura has also updated the A-Spec models, which feature a sportier appearance and special interior treatment; the new ILX A-Spec now comes with dark chrome for the front grille and lower fascia, LED fog lights, darker headlights and taillights, a gloss black rear spoiler, 18-inch ‘Shark Gray’ wheels and an exclusive Apex Blue Pearl color option.

The interior of the ILX A-Spec features a graphite-silver accent on the dash, an A-Spec badge on the steering wheel with contrast stitching and all-new sports seats finished in Ebony or Red leather with black Ultrasuede center sections and high-contrast stitching.
