When the Ferrari F12tdf launched, it had a starting price of £340,000 ($438,000). A few years later, the limited-run Ferrari has soared in value, so much so that this UK example in the UK is demanding £950,000 ($1.22 million).
This Ferrari-approved example that’s for sale in the company’s official Birmingham dealer, though, isn’t like most.
The first thing you’ll notice is the Blu Elettrico Opaco paint scheme, which was a $40,000 option. It might not be the only F12tdf finished in this breathtaking shade of matte blue, but it is exceptionally rare and makes the car all the more desirable.
Beyond the paint, the car’s exterior includes a selection of carbon fiber parts, a black stripe across the hood, gloss black wheels and yellow brake calipers. Alongside a gloss blue F12tdf we showed you last year, this could be the best-looking example we’ve ever laid eyes on.
The blue and black color scheme continues in the cabin, where you’ll find a healthy array of Alcantara trimmings, an aluminum rev counter, blue contrast stitching, and a Hi-Fi system complete with Apple CarPlay. But, with the V12 screaming, it would be a crime to ever use the audio system.
Ferrari built just 799 examples of the F12tdf. Each and every one is powered by a naturally-aspirated V12 pumping out 770 hp and 508 lb-ft (689 Nm) of torque, allowing the car to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in a blistering 2.9 seconds.
Considering the vehicle’s desirability, it’s likely that prices will continue to rise over the coming years, potentially making this quite a good investment. The fact that the odo shows a mere 55 miles (89 km) should contribute to that.
