ABT Sportsline believes that even vans deserve some tender loving care from time to time, which is why they have rolled out a few visual and performance upgrades for the Volkswagen T6.

Starting from the outside, the German van has a more dynamic look, highlighted by the specific grille, front and rear skirt add-ons, and rear wing. These are complemented by the four-pipe exhaust system and 20-inch alloy wheels from the tuner’s GR series.

The black Volkswagen Transporter pictured below has been commissioned by two stand-up paddlers. Thus, it has a couple of almost 3-meter (10 ft) long SUP boards that appear from the tailgate, two head-high paddles, two deck chairs and a crate of chill-out beverages, which come in handy after a hard day’s work.

Other work performed by ABT is found beneath the sheet metal and includes some suspension springs or, for a more special stance, a height-adjustable suspension kit. With these, the “vehicle can surf any power wave with ease”, says the tuner.

But the work wouldn’t have been completed without a power boost. So, ABT has answered the call by giving an extra 31 PS (31 hp / 23 kW) to the 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW) 2.0-liter BiTDI diesel engine, which is now good for 235 PS (232 hp / 173 kW) and 490 Nm (361 lb-ft) of torque.

The tuner’s ECU mod is also available as an option for the 2.0-liter TDI and 2.0-liter TSI diesel and petrol units, respectively.
