BMW’s 8-Series family currently counts the Coupe, which is available for now with two different engines, powered by diesel and gasoline.
The Convertible is expected to be revealed next month, at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, and the lineup will be completed by the Gran Coupe model.

Prototypes of the BMW 8-Series Gran Coupe continue to be scooped at the Nurburgring. The camouflage is still present, but we can get a good look at how it handles Nordscheife’s corners.
The M850i xDrive that you see here will be the range-topping member of the series until the M8 GC arrives. It is powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8, just like the M850i Coupe, and will push out 530 PS (523 hp / 390 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft). For Europe and probably other select markets, there’ll be a diesel, too, though it will be 210 PS (207 hp / 154 kW) and 70 Nm (52 lb-ft) of torque down on the petrol-engined variant.
The full-blown M8 Gran Coupe is expected to pack the same powertrain as the latest M5, namely a twin-turbo V8 with 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque, which might allegedly get a slight power bump.
