You might very well be the world’s most careful driver, but sometimes you can’t avoid getting involved in an accident caused by someone else,
This incident is the perfect example: the black Chevy that jumped the median hit two cars and a silver SUV, which got flipped as a result.
The cammer was actually lucky to just get clipped. While the initial impact spun them around, the fact that it wasn’t a head-on crash is definitely something the vehicle’s occupant or occupants should be thankful for. It, however, did not reduce the speed of the out-of-control Chevy, which was catapulted towards the SUV.
On the bright side, it was actually very nice to see a red Toyota SUV pulling over, its driver literally running to lend a hand. Unfortunately, apart from the occupants of the dashcam car, who are alright, we don’t have any info about the rest of the people involved in this accident, so here’s hoping that everyone is OK.
As for why that Chevy crossed over the median to begin with, our guess is as good as yours. Seen as how there was no sign of any course correction along the way, the driver must have been either incapacitated or, for some reason, unable to steer/brake the car.
