A complete list of part diagrams for the long-awaited A90 Toyota Supra has just leaked online, revealing a number of key details about the sports car.
The list, discovered by the SupraMKV forums, indicates that the Supra will be available with three different powertrain configurations. The first Supra model uses the BMW Z4 designation of 20i and is fitted with an engine dubbed the B48D, set to be sold throughout Europe in both left- and right-hand drive configurations.
Details about the B48D engine are limited but it’s thought to be a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine sourced from BMW and delivering 262 hp. The second Supra model is coded as 30i and has a B46D unit that will be sold across Europe and the United States. Last but not least is the Supra 40i, fitted with the range-topping B58C 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine.
To say we’re all ready to finally see the new Supra would be an understatement.
As for the parts diagram, it confirms that the car will use exactly the same badge as the previous-gen Supra, a relief for enthusiasts. Additionally, images show exactly what the headlights and taillights will look like and as we anticipated, they appear virtually identical to what recent renderings have depicted.
Inside, the diagrams show off key aspects of the cabin. Included is a fully-digital gauge cluster, a three-spoke steering wheel similar to the BMW Z4’s, and sports seats. Strangely, there is no large infotainment screen visible like with the Z4, as the Supra instead has a relatively traditional dash and center console design.
Toyota has yet to say definitively whether or not the new Supra will be offered with a manual transmission but there is no diagram that depicts a manual shifter. Instead, there’s simply a diagram of a shifter that’ll be used in conjunction with the eight-speed torque-converter automatic.
The 2019 Toyota Supra will premiere at January’s Detroit Auto Show.
