Few American cars are as desirable as the Ford Mustang, particularly in a limited-edition guise. For most, these vehicles are far from affordable, but now, anyone with at least $3 can enter the draw to win both a 1968 Mustang Bullitt Restomod and a brand new 2019 Mustang Bullitt.
The two muscle cars are being auctioned off by Dream Giveaway in an online raffle. Participants can part with as little as $3 to get a single ticket into the draw or pay as much as $5000 to get no less than 7200 tickets. The eventual winner will walk away with two muscle cars that’d get even the most well-known car collectors a little hot under the collar.
The 1968 Mustang Bullitt Restomod reportedly took $150,000 to build and aims to perfectly mimic the look of the original car from the classic Steve McQueen film. It includes a 390 cu Ford engine with dual four-barrel carbs, a modern five-speed manual transmission, and a custom dual exhaust system.
Elsewhere, the car includes independent front suspension, adjustable billet coilovers, four-piston brakes at all four corners, and a Ford 9-inch rear end. Completing the build is a bodywork just like the real Bullitt, redesigned bucket seats, and a vintage air conditioning system.
As for the 2019 Mustang Bullitt, it comes complete with the optional $3800 Bullitt Technology Package and Magneride Damping System. It also features select Ford Performance parts like a short-throw shifter, lowering springs, and new half shafts. Like all other 2019 Bullitts, it is powered by a 5.0-liter naturally-aspirated V8 that delivers 480 hp.
The winner will not only walk away with the two Mustangs, but shall also get $25,000 to help pay for the taxes.
