The Peugeot e-Legend Concept is one of the most talked about debuts at the ongoing the 2018 Paris Auto Show. For now, it’s just a concept, but Peugeot hasn’t categorically ruled out a production version.

Don’t rush to your local Peugeot dealership just yet, because the road between presenting a study and actually making it is very challenging, especially for a car like the e-Legend, which isn’t a crossover, nor an SUV, and we all know how much consumers appreciate high-riding vehicles these days.

So, where does the whole ‘might happen’ information come from? Well, AutoNews.fr started an online petition last week, asking Peugeot to make it happen and demanding support from web surfers within the process.

And the main man over at the Peugeot brand, Jean-Philippe Imparato, decided to play along, so he shared the link to the petition on social media, accompanied by a short yet very important caption: “If we get to 500,000, we might really have to consider it.”

Half a million signatures is hard to achieve, and it doesn’t guarantee anything in the end, but if you want to support the project and perhaps see the Peugeot e-Legend Concept getting the green light for assembly, then you can sign here. At the time of writing, nearly 26,000 people have expressed their desire by signing the petition, so only about 474,000 signatures to go.
