From the subcompact Captur to the compact Kadjar and mid-sized Koleos, Renault is covering all mainstream high-riding vehicle segments.
They’re also selling the Kwid in Asia, the Kaptur in Russia, and a rebadged Dacia Duster in different markets.
From next year, they will tap into yet another niche with the Arkana, a coupe crossover presented at the 2018 Moscow Motor Show. The Arkana won’t go on sale in Europe, it will, however, launch in Russia from next year, and will become available in Asia and other select markets.

The Arkana is currently a concept, although the final version is expected to premiere with identical styling, albeit with a few small changes.
The French automaker will most definitely not offer a sporty derivative of the coupe crossover, yet Kleber Silva has gone ahead and made a rendering, with some of the elements coming from the latest Renault Megane RS, including the central-mounted exhaust tip and the shape of the diffuser.
If it were to make it to the assembly line, it would probably be powered by Renault’s turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder shared with the hot hatch and the modern-day Alpine A110. In reality, however, the Arkana will be sold with an assortment of petrol and (probably) diesel engines not developed by Renaultsport.
