One of the perks of being globally recognized as an iconic nameplate is the fact that aftermarket specialists are going to be all over you, trying to take what is a finished product and adding loads of special and bespoke touches, both outside and in.
It’s why we have already seen so many visual mods for the Ford Mustang, from slight aesthetic changes to completely new body kits that outright transform the car into a whole different beast, like the Galpin Rocket for one.
This however isn’t that. What you’re looking at is basically a taillight swap, where the ‘Stang’s regular lighting units have been ditched in favor of a set of single, circular LED lights, very similar to those found on the Ford GT supercar, as pointed out on Reddit’s Awesome Car Mods thread, by someone with the username LamBroghini750.
By the looks of things, we’d say that those are HALO LED taillights, created by automotive lighting firm Raxiom. Not only do they change the Mustang’s rear-end appearance a great deal, they also give it a little bit of a Ferrari F12 vibe.
Naturally, we understand if some of you prefer your Mustangs the way they are. Besides, Ford knew what they were doing when they decided to give the Mustang its three bar taillight design – a look that dates back to the 60s.
