If you’d rather not pay the 2019 BMW X4 M40i’s sticker price of $60,450, then perhaps you might be interested in obtaining a “slightly” used one, which also happens to be damaged.
This particular white X4 M40i is being auctioned off on Copart, and whoever ends up with the winning bid might get to purchase and repair the car for less than what it would cost them to actually get a new one from their local BMW dealership.
On the other hand, this crossover has been pretty seriously injured and it would have a salvage title. The ad states that aside from the front end, there’s also some undercarriage damage, the extent of which remains unknown.
Of course, you can always buy this X4 and strip it for parts, in case fixing it up would prove too costly. The point is to make money (or at least save money), not lose it.
Bit of a fixer upper
There’s no telling what sort of damage lies underneath that crumpled up front fascia, and that front axle has definitely taken a beating. On top of that, the driver airbag and both curtain airbags have been deployed, meaning that the car’s future owner will also have to pay for re-installing the airbag modules and fixing both the steering wheel and headliner, if their goal is to get this X4 back out on the road, that is.
At the peak of its powers, the 2019 BMW X4 M40i is a seriously quick crossover, able to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 4.6 seconds thanks to its 3.0-liter straight-six unit, producing 355 HP (360 PS) and 365 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque.
