While many supercar owners treat their vehicles as pieces of art and rarely drive them, some love nothing more than actually driving them. The following Porsche 911 GT3 RS fit into the latter category.
Priced from just a touch under $190,000 in the United States, the most recent 911 GT3 RS isn’t cheap. Evidently, this owner isn’t bothered about scratching up the expensive paint or denting the bodywork and decided to film a little clip inspired by Ken Block’s famous Gymkhana films and the infamous ‘Tax The Rich’ series.
The video starts out quite slowly and shows the beautiful red Porsche resting in a garage, complete with gold wheels and a very fitting license plate that reads ‘SLOW’. Before long, the calm is interrupted by the vehicle’s burbling six-cylinder engine and the driver pinning the throttle and accelerating out onto a gravel road.
Shortly afterwards, the GT3 RS finds itself in an empty quarry and the driver starts to slide around a series of obstacles, splashes through puddles, and causes a little mayhem. It’s both awesome to see a 911 GT3 RS being driven like this but also a little sad thinking about how much of a beating parts of the car, particularly the undercarriage, are taking.
