If you thought Boba Motoring’s Volkswagen Golf Mk2 is extreme, then you haven’t been introduced to this particular example.

This Golf is the work of SpeedMakers Bogtland, benefits from as much as 1,300+ horsepower and is equipped with an all-wheel drive system. Also, apart from a few decals and some other bits, the exterior remains stock, which makes it a true sleeper.

The tuned hatch is no stranger to drag strips, and doing some online digging we found that it’s capable of running the 1/4-mile in just 8.7 seconds, at a speed of 290 km/h (180 mph). As for its latest adventure, it was raced against the clock, in a 1/2-mile event in Germany, and managed 17.334 seconds, at 333.33 km/h (207.12 mph), in one of the runs.

Its mind-blowing performance probably allows it to feast on Ferrari 488 GTBs, Lamborghini Aventadors and even McLaren 720S’.

Now, the following video doesn’t depict the heavily tuned VW Golf against other machines, but it does show it in action under full throttle, so you may want to spend the next 5 minutes checking it out.
