Remember the McLaren 600LT’s flame-spitting show from the Goodwood Festival of Speed this summer? Well, multiply it by 3, and you’ve described the plot of this new video.
The clip that first appeared on social media, shows three examples of the British supercar engaging in a revving battle that culminated with flames spit from their top-mounted exhaust tips.
All three of them then drove into the night at the track, under the soundtrack of the twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine that powers the entire Sports Series range. In the 600LT, the unit puts out 592 hp (600 PS / 441 kW) and 457 lb-ft (620 Nm) of torque, making it the most powerful of the family.

0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration takes only 2.9 seconds, which is identical to the Lamborghini Huracan Performante. Top speed sits at 204 mph (328 km/h), 2 mph (3 km/h) more than the Italian supercar.
It may be part of McLaren’s Sports Series range, but the 600LT has supercar pricing. It starts from $240,000 (equal to €208,736) in the US. That’s about $16,500 (€13,916) less than a Ferrari 488 GTB, and some $25,000 (€21,743) more than the Portofino.
If customers want the optional Clubsport or Clubsport Pro packages, they have to pay another $29,370 (€25,544) or $34,600 (€30,093), respectively. But in the end, they’ll end up with the fourth LongTail (LT) McLaren, and probably what is to become a future collectible.
